I'm the online editor for Family Tree Magazine, where I write, edit, troubleshoot stuff and manage various online ventures. I blog here and here. My first book, a business guide for part-time indie crafters, was released in 2009 by North Light Books. Get Crafty Superstar: Make Crafts on the Side, Earn Extra Cash and Basically Have It All in a bookstore near you or right here! Recently I was the associate editor for The Artist's Magazine, writing on fine art, business and craft topics. Once upon a time I was a copy editor and designer for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and its family of newspapers. I also moonlighted as a columnist for the Trib p.m., writing a weekly exposition I liked to call the Hipster Report. I'm an alumna of Kent State University's stellar journalism school, and I have a tendency to get crafty on the regular. Because I have so much free time, I co-organize Cincinnati's Crafty Supermarket, an indie craft show of epic proportions. Want to contact me? Try grace dot dobush at gmail dot com.
